During Auntie's last visit, she was her usual helpful self - she leant a hand in the kitchen, tackled a mountain of laundry, kept Madison entertained, changed a diaper or two, and tossed the ball for our dogs. She came on condition, however. We're only afforded these luxuries (during football season) if Auntie is able to watch the Steelers' football game - uninterrupted - on the big tv. We gladly obliged, and even dressed for the occasion. Here we are, in black and yellow:
I also made her my infamous "Taco in a Bag". Mmmmmm. All the usual taco fixin's, but skip the tortilla and pile them into a single serving sized bag of Fritos. It's delicious, and Miranda was an instant fan. Jim made his favorite meatballs and we also whipped up a batch of my mom's signature appetizer: bacon wrapped tater tots. Safe to say, we each had a massive stomach ache that day and passed up dinner altogether.
And I think the Steelers won.....
