They're crunchy, they're colorful, they're delicious (see below) and they're EVERYWHERE. Oh, what a marvelous toy - the leaf!
Today is warm and windy, making for the absolute most perfect leaf pile conditions one could ask for. The leaves have freshly fallen from the trees, so they aren't wet, moldy or covered in bugs. Also, the ground is nice and dry. It may be the only day this year that we get to play with leaves without having to be bundled in overalls, a coat and mittens.
Here is my princess enjoying the leaf paradise that is our front yard.
