She is a BIG girl!
Today we had Audrey's 9 month checkup at Dr. Speaker's office and it was confirmed that yes, she is huge. Not in a diabetes baby way (no offense if you know of or gave birth to a baby with "the diabetus"), but in a well-proportioned, wow-she's-a-great-eater way. I attached her growth charts, which turned out kind of hard to see :( The most exciting part - watching her growth line shoot off the chart - is clear. The grid at the bottom of each page are Audrey's measurements from each checkup and the corresponding dates. You can see that today she weighed in at 23 pounds and 30.5 inches. The %tile column isn't accurate either; her doctor informed us that once a baby is "off the chart", it won't generate a number greater than 99.87. She joked that last time Audrey's height was 105th percentile, even though that doesn't exist...so now it must be 111th. ;)
We are thrilled that she is developing right on schedule and that she's both happy and healthy.
