This summer is just full of adventure! Last weekend we did our usual sunning/tubing/swimming thing at Jim and Cindy's house, but with a little twist. The neighbors offered to take Madison water skiing. These folks have every water toy in the book and have been teaching their grandchildren how to ski from as young as 18 months! As you can see from the photo, the kids are eased into it by starting out by being pulled with a jet ski instead of the boat. Maddy probably isn't ready to go full tilt behind a boat just yet, but she did manage to get up and stay up on her fourth try. She took a big loop around the lake one and a half times before cruising back in to the dock with a huge grin on her face.
