Bizi Farms

Bizi Farms is a great pumpkin patch just north of our neighborhood in Vancouver.  We went there last year for our pumpkins and decided to return this year on a weekend when Auntie was visiting.  We lucked out with not only blue sky, but near 70 degree temperatures!  All of us felt overdressed by the end of the afternoon, and thankful that we did our heavy pumpkin hauling earlier in the day rather than later.

One of the coolest activities at this farm is a big pumpkin launch: massive slingshots, softball sized pumpkins, and barrels for targets out in the cornfield.  Madison had a blast doing this last year, and made a little progress this year towards hitting those targets.  We have learned that she just doesn't pack enough punch (technically weight) to stretch the slingshots far enough, so she had help from Daddy and Auntie while Audrey and I watched. 

The farm also has a cute petting zoo, and we actually happened to visit during a time when several animals were feeling friendly.  Audrey was pretty entertained, and she even got a big sloppy kiss on the hand from a cow!
